Becky Blake Goble

Marion Rebecca “Becky” Blake Goble, age 77, of Crouse, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at Atrium Health Lincoln. She was born August 26, 1947, in Gaston County, to the late Avery Blake and Jennie Louise Flowers Davenport. Becky enjoyed working in the yard and visiting with her friends. She always managed to keep such a clean house even while raising such a large family. She had a heart of gold and was good to everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Johnny Ray Goble; daughter, Heather Raines; son-in-law, Andra Kirkpatrick; previous husbands, Ronald Keith Conrad, Sr., Richard Calvin Raines, Sr., and Darrell Wayne Middleton; stepsisters, Vickie Lyles and Terri Lynn Smith; and a great-great grandbaby.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Kistler, Ronald Conrad, Jr., Kimberly Walters (James), Richard Raines, Jr. (Dawn), and Summer Woody; brothers, Charles Blake and Michael Blake; stepsister, Billie Jo Pearson; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 cats, Tigger, Abagail, and Boots; and guinea pig, Hardy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Weber officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
