Bonnie Quinn

Bonnie Rachel Lansing Quinn, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.

Mrs. Quinn was born on April 5, 1923 in Gaston a daughter of the late Albert L. and Ocie Goodman Lansing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Rachel had retired from Dora Industries as an Inspector.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Friel A. Quinn; daughter, Friela Lansing Quinn; and brothers, J.C. Lansing and Clyde Lansing.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin Q. Buschemeyer and husband, Bud, of Louisville, KY; grandson, Jay Buschemeyer of Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Lecy Quinn of Cherryville; and several nieces and other relatives.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Dr. Bill Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
