Candice Jean Hubbard O’Brien-Aufrecht, age 41, passed away in Gaston County. She was born March 8, 1983, in Lincoln County, daughter to Donna Marie Bailes Harris (Robert) and David Lee Hubbard.
Candice loved being outdoors. She enjoyed landscaping and watching butterflies. Candice also enjoyed being at the beach and collecting seashells. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and liked anything Tweety Bird. Candice loved watching horror movies and long drives with her children.
She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Robert Keith Harris; and beloved Rat Terrier, Max.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Donna and Robert Harris; father, David Lee Hubbard; husband, Billy Aufrecht, Jr.; daughters, Peyton Nakia O’Brien, and Bridget O’Brien; granddaughter, Addilynn Marie Thompson; brother, Michael Wayne Hubbard; sisters, Lisa Dionne Harris Anthony (Woodie), and Jennifer Nichole Harris; maternal grandfather, Bobby Bailes; aunts, Ann Gibson, Debbie Bishop, and Betty Bradshaw; uncles, Danny Bailes (Linda), Alan Hubbard, and Gary Hubbard; mother-in-law, Linda Haine; and numerous cousins, including, Alan Bishop, Misty Hubbard, and Nichole Bradshaw Williams.
No formal services will be held.
