Charles Joseph Hastings, infant son of Daniel and MaryRose Hastings, was placed in the arms of Jesus early Friday morning, April 10, 2026.

Even though Charles never took a step in this life, he made a lasting imprint on the hearts of all those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Dominica Nordmark, and cousin, Raela Ruiz.

Charles is survived by his parents, Daniel and MaryRose Hastings; siblings, Nathaniel, Thomas, Genevieve, Marian, and Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, David and Michelle Nordmark; paternal grandparents, David and Tina Hastings, and Eileen and Kevin Sylvester; maternal aunts and uncles, Colleen Nordmark, Meagan and Pablo Ruiz, Nora and Joshua Landon, Maureen and Zachary Conville, Erin Nordmark, John Nordmark, Aoife and Treysian Wingate; and William Nordmark; paternal uncles and aunts; Melissa Hastings and husband Tim, David and Rebecca Hastings, Michelle Hastings and husband Thad; and Paul Sylvester. Charles is also survived by numerous cousins.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Carlson officiating. Burial will be held in the Memorial Garden of St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church.
