Daniel Mcswain

Daniel Roger McSwain, age 65 of Lee Black Rd. passed away Thursday, May 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 30, 1953 in Gaston County to the late Winfred and Florence Black McSwain. Danny was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired licensed optician.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph McSwain; and sister, Kathryn Foster.

Survivors include his brothers, Fred McSwain, Delbert McSwain, and J.R. McSwain; sisters, Sue Tomlin and Linda Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating.. Family and friends welcome.
