Dennis Lamberth

Dennis Ray Lamberth, 64 of County Line Rd., died September 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell Co. on June 25, 1949 a son of the late Ray Junior Lamberth and Mary Philyaw Lamberth Beard and nurtured by his late grandparents Dewey and Beulah Lamberth.

Dennis was a graduate of UNC-C, Vice President of A. B. Mauri Co. in charge of Europe, Africa, and Middle East product development, and a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Lamberth proudly served his country in the US Army in Viet Nam.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Myra Jones Lamberth, children Phillip Lamberth (Sherry) of Cherryville, Scott McRainey(Stephanie) of Lincolnton and Anne Odom(Travis) of Grover, six grandchildren Jeffrey and Emily Lamberth, Liam and Harper McRainey and Adele and Jameson Odom, great grandchild Lacey Lamberth and his Aunt and Caregiver Lois Piicklesimer of Bessemer City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 PM at First Baptist Church, Cherryville with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating with burial to follow in Gaston Memorial Park Garden of Honor with military rites by American Legion Post #243. The family will have a gathering of friends on Saturday at the church fellowship hall from noon-12:45 and at other times at the home.
