Hope Pascual Vergara, una querida hija, hermana y amiga, falleció el domingo 5 de enero de 2025, a la edad de 26 años, dejando atrás un legado de creatividad, alegría y bondad. Hope tenía un espíritu aventurero y le apasionaba caminar por senderos, viajar y explorar nuevos lugares. Encontró paz en la naturaleza y alegría en sus actividades creativas, como escribir un diario, dibujar y coleccionar productos de Gudetama. El amor de Hope por la moda la llevó a pasar horas comprando ropa y recientemente abrazó el arte de la costura. Con una sonrisa contagiosa y una habilidad especial para hacer reír a los demás, Hope iluminaba cada habitación en la que entraba. Todos los que la conocieron extrañarán profundamente su personalidad vibrante y su alma creativa.

Nació el 22 de enero de 1998 en el condado de Lincoln, hija de Leticia Hilario Vergara y Manuel Pascual.

Le sobreviven su madre, Leticia Hilario Vergara; su padre, Manuel Pascual; hermana, Leslie Roxanna Ramos Vergara; hermano, Alejandro Adrián Arrendondo-Vergara; tías y tíos, Manuel Vergara, Alberto Vergara, Francisco Vergara, Baltazar Vergara, Agustín Vergara y María De Jesús; y Padrinos, Edith Vergara y Carlos Villanueva.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a la 1:00 p. m. el martes 14 de enero de 2025 en la iglesia católica St. Dorothy con el p. Michael Carlson oficiando. La familia recibirá a sus amigos en Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home desde las 10:00 a. m. hasta las 12:00 p. m., antes del servicio. Después de su misa fúnebre, el entierro se llevará a cabo en Forest Lawn Lincolnton.

Hope Pascual Vergara, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the age of 26, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, joy, and kindness. Hope had an adventurous spirit and was passionate about hiking, traveling, and exploring new places. She found peace in nature and joy in her creative pursuits, including journaling, drawing, and collecting Gudetama merchandise. Hope’s love for fashion led her to spend hours thrifting and recently, she embraced the art of sewing. With an infectious smile and a knack for making others laugh, Hope brightened every room she entered. Her vibrant personality and creative soul will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was born January 22, 1998, in Lincoln County to Leticia Hilario Vergara and Manuel Pascual.

Survivors include her mother, Leticia Hilario Vergara; her father, Manuel Pascual; sister, Leslie Roxanna Ramos-Vergara; brother, Alexander Adrian Arrendondo-Vergara; aunts and uncles, Manuel Vergara, Alberto Vergara, Francisco Vergara, Baltazar Vergara, Augustin Vergara, and Marid De Jesus; and Godparents, Edith Vergara and Carlos Villanueva.

Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Carlson officiating. The family will receive friends at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, prior to the service. Following her Funeral Mass, burial will take place at Forest Lawn Lincolnton.
