Jason Ledford

Jason Wells Ledford, son of "Dick" Clyde C. Ledford, and Jody L. Ledford passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 6, 1985, in Cleveland County.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Whitney “Whit” Lee Ledford; and grandparents, Margaret and Rote Smith, and Zeb and Helen Lowery.

Jason was a graduate of Cherryville High School. He went on to attend Gardner Webb and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Human Resources. Jason enjoyed reading, watching movies, and gardening. He also loved cats and dogs. Jason was a very kind person and would do anything for anyone.

Jason is survived by his loving parents, “Dick” Clyde C. Ledford, and Jody Lowery Ledford (Doug Biggerstaff).

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at First United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Zack Christy. Burial will be private.
