Joan Marie Hamilton Brown, age 83 of E. Gaston St. died Friday, October 30, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System - Lincoln. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Clinton County, Pennsylvania to the late John Hamilton and Lola Marie Thompson Crabtree.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chet Brown.
Survivors include her daughter, Bambi Sanders and husband, Fred of Cherryville and a grandson, Joshua Michael Thomas.
Services will be private.
