John Stone

John Michael Stone, 57, of Gatewood Dr., died Friday Aug. 10, 2018 at Carolina Healthcare-Lincoln. He was born in Brewton, Alabama on May 26, 1961. He was the son of the late John Earl Stone and Pearlene Blair Stone Busby. He was a longline truck driver for DotLine Transportation for 30 years. He enjoyed Classic Cars and driving and was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Selina Rhyne Stone; children, Gian Stone, Joplin, MO, Desarie Stone, Vermont, Matthew Warne, Lawndale, and Bradley Warne , Lawndale; one grandchild Madelynn ; brothers, Greg Stone, Brewton AL, and Kevin Stone, Edna TX; and sisters, Rachel Craven, Houston TX, Shelia Stone, Houston TX and Jojo Cortez Ybarra, of Hedbronville, TX

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 PM at Carpenter Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private.,
