Kathy Hargrove

Kathy Houser Hargrove, age 58, of Clineland Rd, died on November 29, 2013 at Hospice of Wendover. She was born on April 9, 1955 in Gaston County, a daughter of Benjamin M. Houser of Cherryville and the late Madge Haynes Houser. Kathy graduated with a Bachelors in Computer Science from Gardner Webb University and was employed as a Senior Systems Administrator at Durham Technical Community College.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Ronny D. Hargrove; a son, Ronny Hargrove II of Cherryville; brother, David B. Houser (Sheila) of Cherryville; sister, Phyllis Miller (Tim) of Bessemer City; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner and Rev. Roger Wentz officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
