Lisa Bumgarner

Lisa Rae Bumgarner, age 60, of Lincolnton, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born on December 10, 1965, in Lincoln County to the late Jerry Wayne Bumgarner and the late Martha Jane Goins Bumgarner.

Some of Lisa’s favorite hobbies were art and crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at group therapy that she attended almost daily in Lincolnton at infinite beginnings. She loved spending time with her brother Chad, her granddaughter Ava Jane, and her niece Destiny. Family was very important to her, and she always talked about how excited she was to be with her mom and dad again one day.

Survivors include her son, Joshua Wayne Black; brother, Chad Wayne Bumgarner; and granddaughter, Ava Jane Black.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 6:45 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
