Lisa Michelle Pressley

Lisa Michelle Pressley, age 53, of Cherryville, passed away October 12, 2025, at Levine & Dixon Hospice House at Aldersgate. Lisa was born June 29, 1972, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Clyde Lee Pressley and the late Judy Johnson Bertaux.

Lisa was a former Clerk of Court at Mecklenburg Courthouse and received her Criminal Justice degree from Garner Webb. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and all things Harley Davidson. Lisa was an avid sports fan, especially the Steelers. She was family oriented and enjoyed time she spent with her sons and grandsons. Lisa loved going on cruises with her mother and was her full-time caregiver in her mama’s final days.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steven Wall (Zach) and Brandon Light (Chelsea); stepfather, Jr. Bertaux; brother, Mike Pressley; and grandchildren, Easton, Carter, and Jameson.

In accordance with Lisa’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
