Mary Crowder

Mary Huffman Crowder, 85, of Flinthill Rd. died Friday, March 27, 2015 at Carolina Care Center. She was born on October 5, 1929 in Archer County, Texas, to the late Frank and Viola Gray Huffman. Mary was a homemaker extraordinaire. She was the matriarch of the family and loved to care for everyone. She was always in charge of arranging the family reunions and all of the holiday gatherings. She took great pleasure in loving her family. Mary also enjoyed helping out around the Fiddler's Vineyard which is owned by her son, Mark. She was a wonderful supporter to all her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Melvin Crowder; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Crowder and wife, Sherry, and Craig Crowder of Cherryville, and Brad Crowder and wife, Patricia and Kirk Crowder and wife, Kathy of San Antonio; sister, Al Jo of Robinson, TX; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will hold private services at a later date. Burial will take place in San Antonio, Texas.
