Mary Patterson

Mary Jane Jones Patterson, age 64 of Cherryville, died March 22, 2013 at her residence. Mary was born in Gaston County September 18, 1948 a daughter of the late Jonas David and Marcellar Walker Jones. She was retired from Patrick Yarn.

Survivors include her husband Larry Floyd Patterson of the home, a son Wendell Poole of Cherryville, three daughters, Marsha Dawson and husband Richard of Shelby, Cindy Hoyle of Cherryville and Lori Benfield of Maiden, two step-sons, Joey Patterson, Cherryville and Donny Patterson of Lockhart, S.C., a brother J.D. Jones of Concord and a sister Sherrie Thompson, Lincolnton, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Kyeth Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6;00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
