Michael Hanlin

Michael Wayne Hanlin, age 37, of Chester Ridge Dr. died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Archdale, North Carolina. He was born January 3, 1979 in Lincoln County to the late Betty Carol Kaalberg Hanlin and Kenneth Raymond Hanlin and wife, Carolyn Burgess Hanlin. Michael graduated from Cherryville High school and was an electrician for Laws Electric. He formerly attended First Wesleyan Church and enjoyed music and reading.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Carolyn of Cherryville; brother, Kenny Hanlin and wife, Denise of Cherryville; sisters, Casey Rae Floyd and Adam of Cherryville, Penny Miller of Morganton and Raven Carpenter and husband, Larry of Lake Norman; grandmother, Evelyn Hanlin of Cherryville and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with friend, Josh Collins officiating. Burial will be private. Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.
