Mildred Mauney

Mildred “Millie” Mauney, age 89, of Gaston County, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. Millie was a Life-long member of Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church, where she played the piano for 50 years. Millie Graduated from Evan’s Business College and worked as a secretary until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brent Ervin Mauney and Loretta Mauney Reep; stepfather, Grover Reep; sisters, Vergie Aderholt, and Inez Clark; and brother, Ralph Mauney.

Survivors include her nieces; Dollie George, and Joyce Newton of Lincolnton; and special family friend, Faye Heavner.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lail Officiating. Her body will Lie In State from 2:00 – 2:45 PM in the church prior to the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Webb’s Chapel Baptist Church.
