Renae Rebekah Pugh Graham, age 61, of Tryon Courthouse Road, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1964, in Hennepin County Minnesota to the late John Pugh and the late Delores Loretta Mahalick Pugh Schrieber.

Renae was a member of the White Earth Nation – Band of the Chippewa. She was a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School of West Palm Beach Florida – Class of 1982. During her high school years, she was very athletic and played both basketball and Volleyball. In 1986 she met her future husband, Greg, through an ad that he placed in the local paper. After she and Greg were married and had children, Renae became very active with her children. She was a Cub Scouts Den Mother and a Girl Scouts Troop Leader. Renae was very artistic and enjoyed crafts and painting. Renae was a true social butterfly who never met a stranger. She genuinely loved people and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Roland Graham, sisters-in-law, April Buonamici, and Elaine Graham; and her fur babies, Legend and Kagney.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Gregory Forrest Graham; her children, Forrest Graham (Katherine) of Greenville, NC., Bryan Graham of Cherryville; Dr. Lauren Nichols (Asa) of Los Alamos, New Mexico; and Jacob Graham of Greenville, NC.; grandchildren, Grayson and Evelyn Graham; brothers, Michael Pugh (Susan) of Oceanside, CA.; and John Pugh (Amber) of Independence, Virginia; sisters, Eileen Schwartz (Glen) of Buckeye, Arizona; Marylou Rodgers (Steve) of Oceanside, CA.; twin sister, Lenae Stokes of Lenior, NC.; and Sherri Larson of Black River Falls, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
