Ronald Johnson

Ronald Andrew Johnson, age 78 formerly of Shelby, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Somerset Court of Cherryville. He was born on November 16, 1937 in Cleveland County to the late Romey Andrew and Levonia Smawley Johnson. He formerly attended Polkville United Methodist Church and had worked for PPG and Dover Mill. He had a great passion for computers and technology. Ronald was also an avid fan of old movies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys J. Hall.

Survivors include his daughters, Andrea J. Cronan and husband, Joel of Eatonton, GA and Ronett J. Bolds and husband, Kraig of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Jason Cronan of Eatonton, GA, Sgt. Jerrell Cronan of the U.S. Army stationed in Columbia, SC, Jodi Cronan of Eatonton, GA, Kayli Bolds attending University of Texas at Austin, and Kayen Bolds of Lewisville, TX; and niece, Deronda H. McDaniels of FL.

Funeral services will be private.
