Troy Drum

Troy Ernest Drum, age 76, of Weaver Street passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. He was born January 17, 1942 in Catawba County to the late William Henry Drum and Pauline Page Drum Kennedy. Troy served in the US ARMY and was retired from American Efird.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Barbara Aderholt.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sherry Drum of Cherryville; son, Glenn Drum and wife, Peggy of Mt. Holly; brothers, Pervie and Roy Drum; grandchildren, John and Michael Drum and step grandson, Garrett Moses.

A private graveside service held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery. A private visitation was held prior to the graveside service at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
