William "Andy" Bumgardner, Jr.

William “Andy” Anderson Bumgardner, Jr., age 65, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away January 20, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Andy was born April 21, 1959, in Gaston County, NC, to the late William A. Bumgardner, Sr., and the late Janice Carolyn Pate Bumgardner.

Andy was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and hiking. Andy was also a truck driver for many years. He was an active man who loved traveling. Andy appreciated visiting both the mountains and the beach; Chimney Rock was his home away from home. However, there was nothing Andy loved more than his great-grandchildren; Joe and Drew, who were his pride and joy.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Bumgardner; and stepdaughter, Tara Nicole Ellis Charbonneau. 

Survivors include his grandchildren, Kara Ellis (Brent Owens), Mallory Charbonneau, and Alec Charbonneau; great-grandchildren, Joe Owens, and Drew Owens; brothers, Lindsey Bumgardner, and Matt Bumgardner; sister, Belinda Badger; and former wife, Kim Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
